Kilikanoon Killerman’s Run GSM 2023 is crafted by Kilikanoon Wines in the Clare Valley, blending Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre to deliver freshness, balance and regional character. The palate is medium bodied and well proportioned, showing juicy red and dark fruit flavours supported by soft, sandy tannins and lively acidity. About Kilikanoon Wines

Kilikanoon Wines is a boutique, terroir-driven producer based in the Clare Valley, South Australia, founded in 1997 by veteran vigneron Kevin Mitchell.

Their vineyards, many dating from the 1960s and 70s, lie on rich terra-rossa and limestone soils, especially around the famed “Golden Hillside” near Leasingham. This ground, combined with Clare Valley’s dial-in climate of warm days and cool nights, allows grapes to ripen slowly and develop expressive varietal character.

Kilikanoon’s approach is rooted in minimal intervention: low yields, native yeasts, and often unfiltered wines, letting the vineyard speak clearly in the glass. Their portfolio spans age-worthy whites (notably distinct, mineral-driven Rieslings) and powerful but balanced reds, especially Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and blends that reflect the heart of Clare.

Kilikanoon has earned a reputation for consistency, depth and longevity. Their wines are often vibrant in youth yet structured enough to age gracefully, comfortably versatile, whether for everyday drinking or serious cellaring.
