Description
Yalumba The Virgilius Viognier 2023 is the winery’s flagship white, made from selected old-vine fruit in Eden Valley, South Australia. Lifted ginger spice and floral notes lead into apricot kernel, almond and a mineral, sourdough-like texture. The palate is complex and finely balanced, with the purity and restraint that make this Viognier distinctive.
Hand-picked grapes are whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented with wild yeasts in mature French oak. The wine matures for around ten months in French oak puncheons, building texture while keeping its bright, focused character.
Six 750ml bottles per pack.
