Description
Vasse Felix Premium Chardonnay 2024 is sourced from select premier plots in Margaret River, Western Australia. The warm, dry season produced ripe fruit, while natural acidity and fine phenolics preserve freshness and structure.
The nose combines rockmelon, honeydew and citrus blossom with lemongrass, savoury mushroom, struck flint and sea spray. A generous, textured palate brings grilled nectarine, roast pecan and galangal, finishing bright and mineral.
Whole bunches were hand harvested and gently pressed. The wine was wild fermented and matured for 10 months in French oak barriques, 30% new. Rated 96 points by James Suckling for the 2024 vintage.
