Saint Clair Pioneer Block 3 “43 Degrees” Sauvignon Blanc 2024, from Saint Clair Family Estate in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, presents an energetic and herb-driven expression of classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose it shows pungent green aromas — blackcurrant bud, fresh herbs and a subtle saline hint. On the palate it is fresh and vibrant with layered notes of blackcurrant leaf, green capsicum, tomato leaf, fleshy white peach and dried herbs, finishing with a fine mineral sea-salt thread. The 2024 vintage captures cool-climate intensity and a crisp acidity that makes it lively and expressive. Saint Clair Pioneer Block 3 “43 Degrees” Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is ideal with freshly shucked oysters, green-lipped mussels or chilled shellfish. ABV 13.0 percent, screw-cap closure.
