Description

Man O’ War Ironclad Bordeaux Blend 2025 is a dry red wine from Waiheke Island, made from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Lifted floral notes lead into dark cherry and bright red fruit, with graphite, cedar, olive and dried bay leaf. The generous yet poised palate layers blackberry, black plum and dark cherry over polished, fine-grained tannins and fresh mineral acidity. Cedar spice, roasted cocoa and subtle vanilla add depth to the long, expressive finish. Decant before serving with roast lamb, venison or grilled beef.
