Man O’ War Dreadnought Syrah 2023 is a dry red wine from Waiheke Island, New Zealand. This challenging vintage brings a savoury, smoky style with dark cherry, mulberry and blood plum, alongside black olive, sea spray, cracked pepper and wild herbs. Fine, graphite-like tannins and bright maritime acidity keep the palate taut, leading to a long, gently smoky, saline finish. Bob Campbell MW awarded the 2023 vintage 96 points. Decant and serve with grilled lamb, venison or other rich dishes.
