Description
Greywacke Chardonnay 2023 is a Marlborough wine made primarily from low-yielding Mendoza clone fruit grown on the Wairau Plains and Omaka Valley. Lively citrus fragrances mingle with crème anglaise, praline and flinty minerality. The richly textured palate brings lemon curd, brioche, stone fruit, tarragon, toasty oak and zesty acidity. Concentrated and layered, it is charming young and will develop savoury complexity with cellaring. Cameron Douglas MS rated the 2023 vintage 95 points and Outstanding.
