Description
Brokenwood Hunter Valley Shiraz 2022 is a medium-bodied red made primarily from younger vines of the Graveyard Vineyard, blended with declassified wine from older vines. Lifted red-fruit and earthy aromas lead to ripe berry flavours, with restrained French oak adding gentle vanilla and spice. Supple texture, natural acidity and ripe tannins carry through to a long finish, keeping the style balanced and distinctly Hunter Valley. Toni Paterson awarded the 2022 vintage 96 points in the Halliday Wine Companion.
