“Intense, dark fruited and varietal bouquet, aromas of dark plums and black currant flesh, layers of toasty barrel with clove and baked vanilla pod, violets and rocky mineral qualities rush to fill the bouquet quota. Fleshy, juicy, salivating and dry all at once on the palate. A mix of stones and dried earth challenge the fleshy core then contrasting tannins and back bone of acidity secure the structure. Youthful, taut, fleshy and well made. A wine that offers excellent drinking in 2023 and through 2027+.”
